Rhythm brawl3/2/2023 ![]() ![]() It was an 18% increase over Game 1 of the 2021 WNBA Finals. We are going to go back home, we are going to have our fans behind us, who have been with us all season, and we are going to use that to propel us to a win and that’s all we can do.”ĪBC registered the most-viewed WNBA Finals Game 1 in five years, with 555,000 viewers, and a peak viewership of 872,000. “We are taking it one game at a time,” Jones said. Young returned early in the final period.Ĭonnecticut is 3-0 in elimination games in the playoffs so far this season. Hiedeman and Williams returned to start the fourth quarter. Williams left late in the third with what appeared to be a lower leg injury. Gray went back to the locker room but later returned. Gray and Natisha Hiedeman left the game with twisted ankles early in the third quarter. It seems very basic at first, but once you are in a room filled with enemies that have different types of attacks it becomes more interesting and addicting. The third quarter saw both teams with bumps and bruises. This will reset your combo meter however, which you might not want to do since there's a skill that makes the game go into a slow-motion mode after you go past a certain amount of combos. After you reach a certain amount of combos you can do a finisher (great to deal with stronger enemies) or use a powered up version of your tools (I remember really liking the freeze ability in City since it allowed me to freeze groups of enemies for a while which made the harder fights more manageable for example). There's also a element of strategy on how to use your combo meter. You can use basic attacks against normal grunts, but then stronger enemies start to appear where you have to use your cape to stun them first to be able to do damage, there's also enemies with melee weapons where you have to dodge in their direction to vault over them and then kick them in the back because you'll take damage if you try a frontal approach, etc. I don't remember Asylum that well, but in City you need to do different type of attacks to deal with certain enemies. ![]() Any recommendations? There's that Midnight Fight game, right? I should probably try that one. There's Yakuza but I've played those already. In the Arkham games, you are jumping from bad guy to bad guy like a ballerina instead of a predator dispensing raw punishment to each and every poor mook in front of him (like Batman 2022). The punching and kicking feels crunching and satisfying, almost cathartic. You are actually engaging with each enemy, punching each one multiple times until they are down, using finishers, etc. I was still trying to work out what was going on when.
